What People Say
Most Liked
Patrons rave about the gigantic portion sizes, ensuring you get your money's worth at prices ranging from $10 to $20. The chicken fried steak often steals the spotlight, delighting visitors with its crispy breading and rich flavor. Many locals can’t resist the savory mac and cheese and the perfectly cooked grits that are the perfect accompaniment to any meal. The sweet tea garners a devoted following, while the Southern specialties like catfish, juicy fried chicken, and the unique chicken and waffles combo keep diners coming back for more. Add to this the fast service and friendly staff, and you’ve got a recipe for success that draws in a diverse crowd.
Most Disliked
Some patrons have mentioned minor disappointments, like the inconsistent quality of biscuits, which didn’t meet expectations. The catfish can be hit or miss without the perfect accompaniments like lemon, hot sauce, and tartar sauce, which some diners felt were essential. Surprisingly, a few diners pointed out the presence of ants and flies near the window sills—something that detracts from the overall experience. While the diner shines in many areas, occasional dish inconsistencies contribute to mixed reviews, particularly regarding some menu items lacking sufficient sauce or flavoring.

OMG! This restaurant is Amazing. We are visiting from Texas and this took us back home in an instant. The restaurant is coZy and welcoming. The food is great! Food portions are definitely not what i expected adding value to your dining experience. If you live close by , you should definitely stop in and have a good breakfast before a busy day. They say pictures are worth a thousand words but i couldn’t explain how good my food was in the pics i posted. Excellent!

LOVED the: -chicken fried steak -mac n cheese -grits -collard greens -the catfish WITH lemon, hot sauce and tarter sauce -lovely staff -fast service -easy parking -gigantic portions -reasonable prices Did NOT Love: -the biscuit -the catfish w/o lemon, hot sauce and tarter sauce -Crystal’s Hot Sauce instead of Louisiana -the many many ants and flies along the window sill Would come here again, it’s not Instagram cute but it truly cozy and friendly and quick. Great food, down home vibe.

Great vibes. Good service. Delicious food! My man had the Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes, I had the salmon Benedict. Both were delicious!! We smashed them before realizing no pics were taken. ‘‘Twas pretty though. Aeshia was super chill and will fr hook you up with whatever your lil fat kid heart desires. They have mimosas which is a big plus but on top of that, they’ll do it by the pitcher!! Will definitely be coming back! The whole menu is full of deliciousness.

Good place to get, great comfort food. My dad always says that you find the old retired Chef's on places like this, and I did a Chef with 45+ years in the business. Who has cooked all around the world in top restaurants and private clubs for the very rich. So don't miss out.

Tried this establishment for the first time on a Sunday morning, when we arrived there was just a few people there. Was seated quickly and got out orders in..my wife got the bacon Benny and I got the French toast with a side of hash and bacon. Both dishes were very delicious and we will definitely be back again!

Kind service, love the asthetic of classic diner inside. The lights have those bowls to drain water from food, don’t know the name but looks super cool. The radio playing in the distance instead of music coming from speakers was pretty cool and relaxing. To my surprise, the shrimp benedict was a HIT. I haven’t had good eggs benedict before, I’m just not a fan, but damn, this was amazing!!
